Yes, I am back again. Well I thought it was a pretty fruitful day at the airbase recently where the National Runway Cycling was held. I just had to blog it out here.

The heat was sweltering. No doubt about it. It was sunny, bright. Almost like it was a gargantuous piece of magnesium strip igniting right in front of my eyes. The skies were clear blue. And there I was gathered with the rest of more than 10000 cycling and skating enthusiasts at the start line. It was a sea of vibrant colours where cyclists were clad in their branded cycling gears and so were the skaters.

I registered for the 45km Endurance Cycling Challenge which was 3 laps round the airbase, each lap being 15km…which I kind of regretted taking part in the first place because over the next few days were hell for me. My legs were aching to the bone. And my butt was aching from the long period of sitting on the bicycle seat, I had to get off a couple of times during the event to bring down the pain.

Then there were some posers who were cycling on one wheel. They were just people who want to be different. Yeah monocycle. I mean come on, they were like circus clowns who just wanted to get the attention of the cameramen on site. I was pretty disgusted by them though. Others may have different viewpoints but I still stick to mine, proud bastards.

Oh well, that’s about all…hmmmm, and I need to get a bike SOON!
